Rare Heat Movie?

Justin and Jenny from Seattle just emailed me the first 20 pages of a script their writing based on Rare Heat. I'll be reading it this weekend.

Justin emailed me today telling me that he and his sister Jenny (who is the inspiration for the song "Jenny's Getting Naked") were writing a draft. I haven't read it yet, but the cover of it looks very professional.

Guess who they want to play Scott Zeif? Me! I can't believe I got the part.

Justin managed my last tour "The Brand New Day Tour" and is the lead singer of the indie punk group "The Clorox Girls"

I Hosted an Open Mic last Monday

I hosted an open mic at the Rockwood Music Hall last Monday. The monthly event is run by Jed Starr from Outmusic.com

It was a great time. I used my new MC name "Z Train" There was a lot of good talent on hand. I was even able to get Soce the Elemental Wizard to come by and sing a couple songs. Then Soce stuck around and joined me to perform Rare Heat's version of "White Flag". People were liking the combo. Soce is a really good improvisator and can learn a song in just seconds.
